Adam Proteau: Four new rules that will make for a more entertaining and fairer NHL The NHL rulebook is always being tweaked, yet there are still areas of the game that draw the ire of fans, players, coaches, executives and media. With that in mind, here are four (partially) tongue-in-cheek rule changes and/or additions that will create a better, more fun on-ice product.

In order to increase scoring, how about no leaving your feet to stop scoring chances? This does not apply to goalies.

eg. sliding to block a shot or sliding to break up a 2 on 1 results in 2 PIM?
